Greetings Delegates! My name is Karla Fernanda Chacón. I am 18 years old and a Senior here at Mazapan School. This is my second year chairing and my fourth year participating in MMUN. Some interesting things about me are that I enjoy playing instruments, singing, and hanging out with my friends. I look forward to meeting all of you and hope you enjoy this year’s MUN. Sophia Hernandez
Greetings delegates and welcome to the 2024 Mazapan Model United Nations! I am Sophia Hernandez and this year, it is my pleasure to be one of your chairs for the United Nations Children’s Fund. It is my third year participating in MMUN and my first year as a chair. I am currently a 16 year-old sophomore at Mazapan and since my early years here, I have been involved in a number of school activities, one of them being volleyball. I have loved this sport ever since I started playing it and have had the opportunity to go to a few ABSH’s. Through these tournaments, I have learned the importance of teamwork and leadership, both of which I wish to apply to make this an interesting and knowledgeable experience for all of you.
