My name is Natalia Hilsaca, your ABSH MUN 2025 Secretary General. I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to everyone taking a hands-on approach to resolving ongoing global issues. That is why, to those of you willing to unite minds for a better world, I say; “welcome, you have found your place.”
Diplomacy is defined as two things; “the profession, activity or skill of managing international relations, typically by a country’s representatives abroad,” but also “the art of dealing with people in a sensitive and tactful way,” (Oxford Dictionary). As delegates, it is your job to put both duties into practice, and I am very pleased to support you every step of the way. Be the generational change our world needs.
I am deeply honored to fulfill the ideals that the UN exalts. With full security, I can say that, with the support of the Secretariat, Chairs, and Mazapan staff, we will host a conference that generates pure satisfaction amongst our participants. Greetings Delegates and Advisors! Welcome to the 2025 ABSH MUN Conference! My name is Isabel Welcome Ponce, and I am honored to be this years Secretary of Conference Services. I am a senior here at Mazapan School, where I have had the opportunity of participating in MUN for three years as a delegate, chair and finally, secretariat. It has been both an honor and a pleasure to be planning this event in order for the discussion of the crucial topics being debated and hope that you, as delegates, engage and take advantage of this memorable experience. I’m hopeful that this year's MUN experience is one to remember. On behalf of the chairs and fellow secretariat members I want to emphasize that we are here if you have any concerns, comments or questions. Delegates, my name is Paolo Calix this year's Secretary of Finance for which I welcome you to this years 2024-2025 MUN. Alongside the rest of the Secretariat and the Chairs we have prepared an astonishing conference where you all can share ideas, debate amongst each other, and participate in making a better world. Greetings delegates and advisors, I am pleased to welcome you to this year’s iteration of the MMUNS. My name is Felipe Vallecillo, and I will be your President of the General Assembly. We live in a world where conflict is constant, especially in Honduras where political struggles are rooted in our culture. By participating in a MUN conference, delegates take the first step of generating awareness to be agents of change in the future. Throughout my years of experience in MUN conferences, I have developed many useful skills, such as public speaking, cooperation, problem-solving, and critical thinking; therefore, I am thrilled to witness the participation that all delegates have in store for this year’s conference, hoping its impact is long-lasting.
