Abigail Barjun

Greetings Delegates! My name is Sohad A. Barjun Muñoz, and I am pleased to welcome you to our conference as chair of the Economic and Social Council. I am a 17-year-old Senior here at Mazapan School, and as my last time chairing, I am committed to making this experience the best I possibly can for all of my delegates. My great love for this conference and my experiences as an ex-delegate and chair drive me to give you this advice: try to enjoy as much as you can while putting in your best efforts, and always remember that the conference at its core is a simulation. I am eager to see what you all will bring to the table, which is this council, and I am always willing to reply to any questions, comments, or concerns you may have, as is my fellow chair. If you ever have any doubts, please feel free to reach out.
Best wishes.

MEET THE CHAIRS

Elizabeth Crespo

Welcome Delegates,
It is my pleasure to be your chair alongside my co-chair, Abigail. My name is Elizabeth. As a senior at Mazapan School, this is my fourth and last year at MMUN; therefore, I’m excited to meet each one of you and make sure you enjoy this year’s MMUN as much as I did my previous ones. I have been involved in many school activities, my main one being volleyball since third grade, and have participated in several national and international tournaments. These tournaments have shown me just how important it is to hear everyone’s points of view during a discussion, and I can’t wait to hear what you all bring to the table. Finally, don’t hesitate to contact me or my co-chair if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck, Delegates!
